I helped out yesterday on the ship - and I'm glad I did ! I got to meet Cmdr Chuck Smiley. He was the helicopter pilot that picked up Apollo 10 and 13. What a classy gentleman.

Last night Taylor Made and Adidas had a special event on board - they had a good turnout. We just did Q&A on the flight deck, no tours - but it was fun ( as usual ).

I saw one of the sailors fishing - I wonder if he caught anything ?

Some of the sailors from the Japanese ships came on board - here are a few of my new pals:

We have visitors from Japan. They don't have a Navy - something to do with WWII . . . so they have the "Japan Maritime Self Defense Force". Just so you know the difference.

It's been a while since I posted a blog. Time for catching up.

We had over 4,000 guests on board yesterday - great turnout. I worked the Chart House (one of my fav places to be ) and the Engine Room, and had a great time. I like it when they spread us around.

Today I worked in Pri Fly - that's always fun too. I met a family from Munich Germany in the morning - they were having a great time on their American Vacation and really enjoyed the ship.

We got new white shirts authorized for Docent wear. They look good. We also got new hats authorized - how do they look ? The jury is still out. I'll post pics later.
