Great time on the ship tonight - the special corp event was a consultant company.

They had the USO show on the flight deck. We like that show - it has the "Andrews Sisters" - ooooh that Maxine, Lavern, and Patti !

It was a rainy night on the ship this evening. We gave tours down below on the Hanger Bay and the Mess Deck. The group was from Canada, eh. They were having a fun time.

Interesting special event on board tonight. A California Winery had their company dinner and meeting on board. There were quite a few vets in the group, and they knew a lot about the ship.

We gave tours for an hour, then got to eat with them, and then gave tours after dinner. We need more events like this !

We had the Midway Volunteer Appreciation Award Dinner tonight. The mayor was there - have you ever known a politician to pass up a speech-making opportunity?

It was a nice night - and I was recognized for my work during the past year.

We had the Traffic Safety Commission on board tonight. Very interesting group - and, as you can imagine, no booze with their dinner. Smart group. We got to have dinner with them too - very nice.

Later we gave tours - as is the SOP for these night functions. My job was on the flight deck tonight. Usually, we get 15 to 20 in our group - but tonight my group grew to over 100 ! That's a new record for me.

Easter Sunday on the Midway - very nice on board today. We had lots of visitors - and more than a few crew members from years past. I got to meet a few and show them around the ship.
